Pope Appraisal Services Company is a small residential only real estate appraisal firm serving the Metro East St. Louis area (seven SW Illinois Counties). We have been in business over sixteen years, providing timely, professional appraisals of single family houses. Two(2) to Four(4) family residences and vacant (non-income producing) land. Our staff includes three Certified Residential Appraisers, a licensed Appraiser, an Office Manager and three support staff.
Joseph P. Pope our President, has had a lifelong association with real estate. His mother was an interior decorator and investor. His father was a builder, sales manager and developer. Paul, Joe's father is still appraising for Pope Appraisal Services (when not fishing).
Joe was the first President of the Alton, IL. River Bend Chapter of Business Network International (BNI). He is currently a member of the National Association of Independent Fee Appraisers. He is also a volunteer Football Coach at Marquette Catholic High School and coaches soccer and baseball for the Alton, IL. Park and Rec. Dept.
Plans for the near and not-so-far future include expanding our services to include commercial assignments (sometimes in 2003). We will still specialize in the appraisal of single family houses. However, to better serve our clients; we must continue to grow.
